More About The Trail
Graskop is on the edge of the escarpment of the Drakensberg and is one of the best stops if you plan on doing the Panorama Route.
The trail is super easy and the whole family can partake in this activity. There are not too many ups and downs, just breathtaking views along the way. This is a circular trail and the best is the view overlooking the Pinnacle Gorge. I suggest you do this trail when the skies are clear, so you’ll have the best views of the Gorge.
The path is a bit overgrown, but still quite easy to follow. On the path, you will find eroded sandstone formations and beautiful flora. It is recommended that you wear waterproof shoes when doing this hike since you’ll be crossing a spruit three times on the trail. One of the crossings has a bridge, whereas the other two you’ll have to cross by foot. Luckily these are easy to cross, even on rainy days.
If you get lost, you can easily go onto Google Maps and look at the trail from satellite view.
