More about Ballito
Ballito is a holiday town and forms part of the Dolphin Coast in KwaZulu-Natal. This is mainly because of the dolphins that dance in the waves every morning.
Ballito is about half an hour’s drive from Durban and is especially popular among locals. With the long golden beaches and many tidal pools to swim in, it is definitely worth a visit.
What to expect when you visit Sophie's Cafè
I saw Sophie’s Cafè pop up on my Instagram and immediately said I had to go there. The aesthetics is why people want to visit as it is the perfect Instagram spot!
Everything is pink. From a pink rose wall, pink cherry blossoms, pink neon sign and even pink food!
We started our morning exploring the Litchi Orchard, after which we decided to grab something light to eat and also something to drink.
The presentation of their food matched the whole vibe of the cafè and it looked so pretty. They say, you first eat with your eyes and then your mouth.
The staff was also very friendly and encouraged you to take some photos to capture the beauty of the restaurant.
Some information about Sophie's Cafè
Sophie’s Cafè is open Tuesday to Sundays from 08:00 to 16:00.
They have a great selection of breakfast and lunch options and their ice coffee and milkshakes are a must try!
They also have delicious baked goods and the cake slices are massive.
Definitely make sure to also check out the market and others shops at the Litchi Orchard while you’re there. Also grab some litchis if you are there during litchi season, which is from December to mid January.
